Who is Hillard Farber?

Hillard Farber was born in June 20, 1933. His birthplace is Union County, NJ, United States. He is the son of Ira Farber and Rose Farber. Hillard was the husband of Gloria Farber and the father of Jennifer Dulos.

Hillard Farber died at his home on January 8, 2017. He died peacefully at 83 and was survived by his wife, Gloria Farber, to whom they had been married for 58 years.

Hillard’s Career

Hillard was committed to his education, and although much information about his childhood remains private, he is a graduate of Rutgers University. He then earned his MBA from New York University.

Hillard has also worked as an officer in the U.S. Air Force for three years. He started his career working at the Chase Manhattan Bank. He was determined about his career, and his efforts quickly saw him rise to senior Vice President. At this point, he was heading the bond trading desk for the bank.

In 1964, while working with the bank, he was invited to serve as a Brooking Fellow in Washington, DC.

Hillard founded an inter-dealer brokerage firm in 1975, which he named Hillard Farber & CO. He worked as the chairman of the brokerage firm while also being the CEO until the firm was sold to Tradeweb in 2008.

Hillard also served as a board member for St. Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights for 31 years. The school acknowledged Hillard and his wife’s devotion towards the institution, and they named the lower school’s building in honor of Hillard and his wife.

She was born on September 27, 1968. The American woman hit the headlines after news about her disappearance was reported on May 24, 2019. According to the authorities, it’s likely that Jennifer was killed in a violent attack while she was in her home in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Based on the investigation, her ex-husband, Fotis Dulos, alongside his girlfriend, were the primary suspects. Fotis and his girlfriend Michelle were arrested for tampering with evidence and obstructing their prosecution involving the case.

Fotis committed suicide in January 2020. Before her disappearance, Jennifer was married to Fotis, and they had five children. Jennifer was presumed dead on May 24, 2019.
